ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
STAFF
Director of Education:
Dian McClain, M.Ed., LPC
Dian founded and
directs the Center for Creative Living School. She has a degree
in elementary education, and is state-certified to teach grades
K-8. She is a state-certified elementary school counselor
and Licensed Professional Counselor. She teaches Upper Elementary
students.
 
Child Care Director:
Shelli Hazelwood, A.A.S.
Shelli serves as the Child Care Director and teaches Primary
students. She has 18 years teaching experience: 10 years preschool,
and 8 years Primary. She provides training to the preschool
teachers.
Teachers:
The teachers, chosen for their personal and professional standards,
support the Center For Creative Living philosophy, have a
basic love of children, and a commitment to teaching. The
teachers are responsive, enthusiastic, and  involved
with the children. They are consistent to the students can
trust and feel secure. The teachers inform parents of the
children's progress. They maintain an organized, stimulating
classroom environment conducive to individual development.
Elementary teachers are state-certified, and preschool teachers
have training in early childhood. All teachers participate
in on-going in-service training for professional and personal
growth.
Volunteers:
Volunteers share special interests with children. Professionals,
parents, and friends are involved in the school program to
enrich the children's experiences.
